Reporting
to the CEO, you will direct all development strategies and associated
marketing and communication activities to achieve the library’s
fundraising goals. As our development leader you will establish
and cultivate relationships with donors, volunteers and library
staff. Your accomplished fundraising experience will contribute
to our organization’s success.
Our
ideal candidate has at least five years of fundraising or related
experience and a post secondary degree or college diploma related
to fundraising and/or communications. You demonstrate excellent
interpersonal and communication skills; planning, teamwork and organizational
abilities; proven success in building relationships with the media
and key contacts in the community; ability to raise funds; and strong
computer skills, including knowledge of donor management software.
CFRE designation would be an asset.
This
is a 24-month full-time contract with the possibility of extension.
