Philanthropy Review
Not
Canadian, but the site has forums used by over 20,000 participants on topics
such as fundraising, grants and foundations and mentoring. They also have a
career search and book reviews.
Bouza

Although
this is a commercial site, the company does have available for viewing some

Canadian
Association of Gift Planners
The purpose of the Canadian Association of
Gift Planners is to support Philanthropy by fostering the development and growth
of gift planning. The Association creates awareness, provides education and is
an advocate of charitable giving. The Association brings together professionals
from various disciplines to ensure that the gift planning process achieves a
fair and proper balance between the interests of donors and the aims and
objectives of registered charitable organizations in Canada in accordance with
the Association’s Standards of Professional and Ethical Practice.

While
the site is mainly directed towards members and selling their publications,
there is an Info Centre which has many fundraising articles available for
viewing and downloading. They have a great Links page as well.

National
membership organization for Canada's community foundations. Plenty of info for

materials on management and governance, fund raising and grants, topical
publications, program evaluation, donor prospect research, public policy issues,
government, and much more. Web sites and catalogs are maintained by the linked
not-for-profit organizations, professionals in the field, and by commercial
sources. HINT: Many sites under specific topics are also 'general
interest' or 'multi-disciplinary' in their own right. Reviewing their links or
sub-sections can locate information beyond what the topic name implies. SURF
